PBV, in conjunction with the website, uses “cookies” to obtain information and to provide certain features, as well as user-friendly and smooth navigation. “Cookies” are small text files that are stored on your device and stored by your browser on the hard disk. We can read these “cookies” while visiting our platform and save your preferences and other information.

Through your browser, you may be able to determine how it deals with “cookies”. Please note, however, that some elements of the platform without “cookies” may not work as intended or at all.

8. Matomo

We use Matomo on our website. This is open-source software that we can use to analyze the use of our website. Your IP address, the website(s) of our website that you are visiting, the website from which you switched to our website (referrer URL), the length of time you have spent on our website, and the frequency with which one of our websites is accessed are processed.

Matomo stores a cookie on your end device via your internet browser to collect this data. This cookie is valid during your visit to our website and will be deleted once it has ended.

The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis and optimization of our website.

However, we use Matomo with the anonymization function “Automatically Anonymize Visitor IPs.” This anonymization function shortens your IP address by two bytes, making it impossible to assign it to you or the Internet connection you use.

9. Integration of services and content of third parties

It may happen that content from third parties, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are included in this online offer. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third party provider”) perceive the IP address of the users. Because without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of each user. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of this content. We endeavor to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of the content. However, we do not have any influence on this if the third parties provide the IP address e.g. save for statistical purposes. As far as we know, we will inform users about it.

10. Miscellaneous

Your access and use of this website and its contents are subject to Austrian law. The Vienna courts are responsible for any disputes.

PBV cannot be held liable for any damage or injury resulting from your access to, or inability to access, this website or its contents. This limitation also includes damage or viruses that affect your computer equipment.

If this website links to other websites, PBV is not liable for their content.

11. Amendments

This Privacy Policy may be changed at any time. If material changes are made to this Privacy Policy, you will be notified either by posting the amended Privacy Statement on the Platform or by email.

It is important that you read the amended privacy policy. If you do not want to agree to the amended privacy policy, please expressly contradict in writing by e-mail to, but we point out that the website and its services may not be available to you or in part.
