During the summer months, this square becomes the vibrant heart of the community with the famous Cyprus Night. Locals and visitors alike are enchanted by traditional music, dance, and culinary delights. Shopping in Pissouri
Right on Pissouri Bay, near the beach, you’ll find Joanna’s supermarket, which offers a selection of everyday items and vacation souvenirs. For larger shopping trips, the large Papantoniou supermarket on the main road is at your service; with its wide variety of products, it has something for everyone.
Tucked away a bit is the local winemaker, who serves excellent wines from his own vineyards. These delicious wines reflect the richness and quality of the Cypriot winemaking tradition and are the perfect accompaniment to any meal or occasion.
And let’s not forget Oksana Foutas, where you can get fantastic fruits and vegetables grown on her own farm—all organic, of course. At Oksana’s, you’ll also find many homemade products such as jams, pickles, and wonderfully refreshing drinks.

We personally appreciate the variety and quality of all the restaurants here and enjoy sampling the wide range of culinary offerings. That’s why, even after many years of living here, it’s hard to say which one has the best food.
Right on the beach, you can enjoy your meal with a view of the sea, while some of the restaurants up on the hill offer stunning views of the countryside. And don’t forget the cozy restaurants on the village square. No matter where you eat in Pissouri, the combination of hospitality and delicious food makes for an unforgettable experience.
In the surrounding area
Explore the area around Pissouri and discover the treasures of Cyprus, which are just a short trip away. The hiking trails around Pissouri are a great way to explore the area.
The larger cities of Paphos and Limassol offer a lively atmosphere, historic sights, and excellent shopping. The legendary Rock of Aphrodite is also located right along the route to Paphos.
If you’re looking for even more peace and quiet, Avdimou Beach is the perfect destination for you. Here you’ll find a peaceful retreat where you can enjoy the sun and the sea to the fullest. And if you do get hungry, there’s also a nice little restaurant right on the beach. Speaking of food, for a culinary break right by the sea, we recommend the Melanda Beach Restaurant, where you can enjoy fresh fish and local specialties with an unbeatable view of the azure waters.
